Make “Small Business Saturday” last all year long [8 Weeks of Thanks]

We’re nearly to the end of 2020… I know we are all together in celebrating the end of this year with hopes for positive change in the year ahead!

We’re also coming close to the end of our 8 Weeks of Thanks. What an amazing 8 weeks!

It has been a joyful experience for the PPR Strategies team to be involved in different ways of saying “thanks” to our community and loved ones. It’s also been amazing to receive your responses to the 8 Weeks of Thanks. If you took part in any of the weeks, I’d love to hear about it! (Just leave a comment down below to share.)

We’re completing these 8 weeks by celebrating small businesses! After all, Small Business Saturday should last all year long every year… And especially after this one.

One great way to celebrate small businesses is through purchasing a gift card. This is something that could be given to a friend or family member… or even saved for a rainy day!

Ellen, our Communications Specialist, purchased a gift card at the Original Popcorn House in Downtown Frederick!

Here’s what she had to share:

From their sweet caramel tuxedo flavor to their delightfully savory white cheddar popcorn, the Original Popcorn House in Downtown Frederick offers over 20 flavors of delicious popcorn. I love the Original Popcorn House because of their awesome ever-changing selection and wonderful service. That’s why I chose to share my love for this business by giving a gift card to a loved one!

Who would have guessed that a popcorn shop would offer gift cards? You’d be amazed at how many small businesses offer gift cards these days. If you have a favorite boutique, restaurant, coffee shop, or bakery, consider purchasing a gift card from them this holiday season.

We’d love to hear what small businesses you celebrate in your city, town, or neighborhood. Please comment down below!

‘Til next time,
