The new fiscal year has begun! Do you have a marketing plan in place?

Here we are, at the beginning of a new fiscal year. How’s it going creating a marketing plan for the year ahead?

We have clients that are rethinking their approach to digital marketing, SEO, content creation, hybrid vs virtual events, and more. How about you? Are you putting out a new RFP for your website? Are you coming up with updated marketing strategies?

In a call with a client recently, we talked about not just checking the box and continuing marketing efforts the same way they’ve been done in the past few years. We also can’t go back to the way we did things before the pandemic. Things have changed.

What you can do is to look at your entire budget as an opportunity for a fresh start. From there, you can evaluate what skills and capacity you have in house and what other resources you need to implement a marketing plan for the year.

When you know what the plan is and you’re working the plan, you’re not spending every day trying to create a new plan. It eliminates a great sense of stress. And then, you can tweak your plan as you go along and get the analytics of what’s working (and what’s not working). It’s like taking a road trip – if you wanted to get from Point A to Point B, you wouldn’t get started without a roadmap (or GPS). Along the way, you can always add detours or changes in route.

You’ll save yourself time, energy, and resources by brainstorming your goals and getting a plan down on paper of what’s reasonable.

Sometimes, clients want our help creating the roadmap and implementing. Others just need help with the plan. How about you? How can we support you?

We’re here as a resource if you’d like to set up a call. Send us a message to set up a free 15-minute consultation.

‘Til next time,
Sandy
